Ecos del Oriente: An Evening of Flamenco Tradition and Fusion
Join us for an evening of Flamenco music and dance, infused with the rich and captivating sounds of the Middle East. Experience the intense footwork and expressive gestures of flamenco and the mesmerizing rhythms and delicate melodies of the Santur in this unique and immersive cultural journey.
Ecos del Oriente brings together a lineup of talented artists promising a vibrant performance. Back from Spain, dancer/singer Annette Morcos will be joined by guest flamenco guitarist Jake “El Chinito”, and Iranian composer and Santur player Bijan Maysami, Bob Fenske on percussion, as well as dancers Anastassiia Alexander and Jessica Peñalver-Côté, and singer Antonia Velázquez.
In keeping with the tradition of setting tablao-style Flamenco performances where clients can also enjoy food and drinks, we are providing a set tapas menu with a Spanish flare. As the food will be catered it will provided on a pre-order basis. Please see the details below.

Tapas details and ordering information:
The tapas pre-orders should be made by 10 pm Wednesday, September 11th. The venue will not take food orders on the day of the performance. We recommend that you purchase the food vouchers when you purchase the tickets in order not to miss the deadline.
The food order will be made by purchasing ‘Food-vouchers‘. The price per Voucher/ person is $25, including all taxes and processing fees. Please see the note below for additional important information.
Each food voucher will provide a menu of 5 different tapas (individual portions) as follows:
- Tortilla de Patatas (a Typical Spanish Potato Omelette)
- Salmorejo Cordobés (a Typical Spanish cold tomato-based soup from Cordoba)
- Gambas al Ajillo (Shrimp in garlic sauce)
- Calamari
- Samosas
PLEASE NOTE: The establishment requires a minimum of thirty-five (35) orders for this service to be offered. If this minimum number is not reached by the 11th of September, all food purchases will be fully refunded at no cost to the client and food will not be served at the event.
